    Dear PB Gardener,

    Strangely enough, spiders have taken up residence in all my cabbage plants. The leaves are all eaten up by something (aphids?) and then if I pick my way through, I see spider webs, a spider, and tons of little green-colored eggs! ICK!!! I don't know if the spiders are eating the aphids and then planting their eggs there or what! It's disgusting. I tried using "environmentally friendly" pesticides to no avail and ended up tossing out all 4 plants because the spiders grossed me out so much. Any thoughts?

  3. Are you gonna eat that luffa? I want to see more pics of it. Cannot imagine this thing growing on your back porch!
